Bmw 310 gs center stand- I'll share a little tip which helped me with the side stand (not helpful with the doublespring center stand) When the side stand is down which stretches out the spring, jam a bunch of quarters or washers into the spring, as many as you can jam in there Then, when you lift the stand up the spring can't contract The three options I've found so far are for the standard height F750GS, low suspension F750GS and the standard height F850GS I've contacted Twisted Throttle and they stated that the SWMotech standard F850GS center stand would lead to ground clearance and cornering clearance issues and difficulties in lifting the bike onto the stand
